Iris
From Moschato Tyrnavou & Merlot
Dry Red Wine
The winged deity Iris, who flew across the sky carrying the sacred water of the gods in a golden pitcher, leaving a rainbow in her path, lends her name to this mythical wine. It is produced from the queen of the Tyrnavos vineyards, Moschato Tyrnavou, combined with the international Merlot variety. Floral aromas—led by rose—and soft tannins highlight the uniqueness of this red wine.
Harvest:
The grapes are hand-picked from selected low-yield vineyard sites that showcase the variety’s characteristics. They are carefully transported in small crates.
Vinification:
Classic red vinification with fermentation in stainless-steel vinificators at controlled temperatures up to 24°C. Aged in stainless-steel tanks for at least 6 months.
