Winery

The Cooperative’s winery is a complex facility spanning several decades of development. Its oldest section was built in 1961, featuring the distinctive and functional architecture of the advanced wineries of that era. Since then, a series of upgrades and extensions have transformed it into a large, modern winemaking unit.

The winery houses all the essential equipment for producing high-quality wine, including destemmers, pneumatic presses, vinificators, stainless-steel temperature-controlled tanks, filters, cooling systems, and more.
Underground areas provide ideal conditions for barrel aging, while the new above-ground warehouses are expertly designed for the proper storage of our products.
State-of-the-art bottling lines for all types of packaging and product standardization are located in newly built facilities. The winery also operates a must-concentration and rectification unit—one of only two currently functioning in Greece.

The Winery of the Agricultural Cooperative Winery & Distillery of Tyrnavos has been open to visitors since 2023, is fully accessible to people with disabilities, and features a dedicated tasting and presentation area for showcasing its products.

The offices, reception area, and meeting room are modern, comfortable, and functional spaces, decorated with 13 paintings by renowned Tyrnavos artist Nikos Kakadiaris, themed around vine, wine, and tsipouro.
